During a standard one-hour CrossFit session, participants engage in adapted variations of the identical workout as a group, with the coach providing step-by-step guidance.
Your gym trainers will help you safely start your CrossFit journey, no matter how fit you are. Coaches teach you the foundational movements and adjust workouts to your fitness level.
Your first CrossFit class will consist of; meeting new people, getting a good warm-up, learning new skills, and doing the main workout. The class might start with a talk about CrossFit basics and meeting the other people there. The warm-up will help get your body ready for the main workout, and the coach will probably teach you important CrossFit moves. The main workout can be adjusted for different fitness levels and will push you in a friendly group setting. You'll receive support and motivation from both the coach and the other participants, creating a strong sense of community.
The Workout of the Day, or WOD in CrossFit talk, is the main exercise plan that CrossFit gyms around the world use every day. It's an integral part of how CrossFit works, focusing on different movements that are useful and done with a lot of effort. Each day, CrossFit gyms decide on a special WOD, and people in the class do that workout on that day.
